New Feature: Bookmark & Share

Our motto at SCHED* is “Simple. Social. Scheduling.” so we’re always looking for ways to make your life easier and helping you to create a more connected event. To this extent, we’ve incorporated the AddThis widget across our platform allowing users to instantly share the calendar of events and their personal schedules in over 50 different ways.

Upon incorporating the widget, we experienced rapid adoption. Users immediately shared their event plans across a wide range of the most commonly used social networks including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and MySpace and are continuing to share.

The widget will be especially useful for Planners hoping to increase awareness of their events by allowing them to tap into the power of their attendees’ social networks. This could lead to increased registrations, increased revenue, enhanced involvement by and among attendees and increased awareness of your event’s schedule.
